The HIKMICRO M15 is equipped with 4G mobile connectivity, which, in conjunction with the sophisticated HIKMICRO Sight app, ensures that you receive real-time notifications of recorded motion. You can conveniently view and download captured photos and videos via the HIKMICRO Sight app, or use the internal 32GB storage, which can be expanded with a SD card.
Connecting the photo trap to the HIKMICRO Sight app offers a full range of features such as photo management and settings, viewing the current status of the photo trap, monitoring data consumption and data plan, setting up photo and video reception and transmission, viewing photos and videos, and overall photo trap setup. All very easy to use and in both Czech and Slovak language.
Fotopast has a built-in SIM card that works seamlessly in the Czech Republic and Slovakia immediately after purchase and there is no need to subscribe. The M15 takes care of photos with up to 10 megapixel resolution and video in Full HD quality, including audio. At night, thanks to the built-in invisible 940 nm brightness, it takes high-quality photos and videos without spooking the wildlife.
It is equipped with a highly sensitive motion sensor (PIR) that triggers the photo trap when motion is detected within 0.5 seconds. The M15 photo trap has a field of view of 45° and at a detection distance of 25 metres is thus able to capture an image up to 20 metres wide.
The battery life of the photo trap is up to almost 6 months. It uses 6 or 12 standard AA batteries, and in addition to battery operation, the device can be connected by cable to an external power supply (DC 12V / 2A). With grade IP66 protection and an operating temperature of -20°C to 55°C, it is ready for year-round operation without any maintenance. The photo trap can be attached to a tree trunk with the included strap, for example.
